The hotel is situated 5 min walking from the Monastiriki subway station, just opposite the fruit and vegetable market, and not very far (5 min walking) to the historical centre of Plaka with its numerous shops, tavernas, bars and restaurants. The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, Plaka, the flee market and many other places are at walking distance. The rooms of the hotel are great, very clean, with a fabulous view on the Acropolis or the fruit market, depending on which side of the hotel your room is. The view from the roof terrasse is awesome, particularly when the sun is setting over Athens. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a big choice of food including some greek delicacies.

Quiet despite having a room over the fruit and veg market. Slept well on very large bed, spare pillows in wardrobe. Small but functional bathroom with good water pressure for shower. Breakfast buffet offered good selection to suit all tastes. Amazing view from the rooftop. A really good hotel if you want to be in the centre of things and excellent value for money.

Had a great stay and left my wallet in my room. Olga found my wallet and returned the wallet with all the money still in there. Nice to have honest people like Olga that do the right thing! Saved me a hassle of getting new drivers license and credit cards! Thx again

Let me preface this by saying my best friend and I were on the flight from hell and flying from New York with a literal sprint thru Geneva to catch our flight to athens. We made it on time but our luggage was stuck in Geneva. Arriving at athens center square we were welcomed and although we were sweating from all the chaos of the flight, we were immediately checked in and ventured to our room. Yes the rooms are smaller than most and the bathroom had an interesting design (although I liked it), it was more than enough for us two girls. Wifi, great breakfast and location were all perfect. Not to mention our front desk lady was so sweet that she was keeping a look out for our luggage to get dropped off for the entire >24 hr time we didn´t have them. She called the airlines for us on request and even called the delivery man to try to hasten the delivery to get to us b4 we left for santorini. With nothing but our purses, we explored all of athens just by the location of the hotel. The hotel is a bit on the corner of a street and a bit hard to find initially but right when you exit you are on the covered street area where the vegetable market is and across the street from the fish and meat market. Down 5 min or less you are in the main shopping street and monastriki square where lots of young ppl mingle at night. Great restaurants and souvenir shopping as well as the flea market to the right. Walk a little further and you will hit the pathway to acropolis. I would say a 10-15 min walk. Finding your way back was a cinch. We even went to the museum of archaeology in the opposite direction..15 min walk and literally finished the acropolis, temple of Zeus, Olympic stadium, and museums ..acropolis and archaeology. To top it off, the service was incredible. We received our luggages at midnight ..4 hours b4 we had to get to the airport..and the manager set us up with a breakfast ...at 3-4 AM! Wow.. If you are willing to have a hotel more in the heart of athens without the price I would recommend here.

If you want to stay in the heart of Athens, this is a great place to be. From the hotel you are in Monastiraki, Plaka and the Acropolis in no time. The rooms are tastefully decorated and incredibly clean. I found the closet, desk and standard for your suitcase very handy. A big plus is the varied breakfast buffet that is included in the price. Be sure to walk up to the rooftop, the view of the city and the Acropolis is breathtaking, especially in the night. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they even let me have breakfast before the buffet normally opens.

I would recomand it especially to tourists. Very clean, good breakfast, very good location (the center of the city, near Ancient Agora, close to Acropole - about 15-20 minutes walk). Great view from the top of the hotel (the roof), open 24 hours, with a mini bar (functional probably only in the spring/summer/autumn - service was available in february only on request made at the desk).

We stayed here for 4 very comfortable nights in Feb ´14. We were greeted by Olga who was really friendly and helpful. Our room was just the job; large comfy bed, very clean bathroom (if a little small, but still nice!) and amazing views of the Acropolis. Wifi connection was strong and reliable in our room. The lounge area next to reception was great to relax in after a day of exploring, the free tea and coffee until 6pm was a nice touch too, you just help yourself. The market outside the hotel comes alive during the day and even though much quieter at night, we felt safe walking around. Would definitely stay again!
